Class Offerings

Ballet/Tap
Ages 4 and up. Length of class varies with students' ages.

Jazz
2nd grade and up, or by decision of instructor.

Contemporary

Ballet required.
Pointe

Students must be at least in 6th grade. Decision is made by instructor.

Liturgical

Includes Bible study and Church presentations
Hip Hop
Offered to all dancers, 4th grade through 12th, in both a Technique class, and a Company class. Enrollment in Jazz Class is required.

Competition Companies

Dance With Mitzi offers competition opportunities for those dancers who wish to go the "extra mile" and participate in more educational and performance opportunities. Students who participate in the competition companies are required to participate in summer dance classes. These groups attend several competitions, perform extra dances in the recital, and attend selected seminars. Genres of dance include Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Jazz, and Hip-Hop.

Recital

Each dance student is expected to participate in the recital, held on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Details will be given at various times throughout the year.
